International Relations is one of the leading disciplines in the number of international students studying at Deakin University. During the first two years in Vietnam, students will study foundational subjects, foundations, specialized subjects taught in English. For the last two years, students will study specialized subjects at the Faculty of Arts and Education, Deakin University.

Subjects in Vietnam will include: History of International Relations, Globalization, International Organizations, International Economic Relations, Diplomatic Operations, International Negotiation. At Deakin University, subjects like: Diplomacy and the United Nations, Human Rights in World Politics; Gender, Globalization and Development, will help students research deeply and update the latest knowledge in the field of International Relations. International relations is considered as a training industry that helps graduate students with the ability to change careers well between many different fields such as diplomacy, foreign affairs, strategic management, media, marketing, non-government.

Upon completing the program, students receive a Bachelor of International Relations (Bachelor of Arts, major in International Relations) from Deakin University. Bachelor of International Relations can work in Australia or return to Vietnam to work for: embassies, foreign affairs departments, training and research institutions, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, agencies press, strategic analysis agency, corporate foreign affairs department.
