They’re employed across all types of organisations from small to large size companies, as well as being able to work as freelancers and consultants.

With the Bachelor of Applied Information Technology (Web Design and Development), you’ll learn to use the latest web technologies to design and develop websites and web applications.

You’ll learn applied skills, including programming, user interface design and usability testing, that will enable you to transform user requirements into industry standard web applications.

An applicant must meet the University Entrance criteria as specified by NZQA or have education achievement, at least equivalent to NZQA University Entrance. Where an applicant did not attend school in New Zealand, the relevant equivalent to University Entrance will be considered on a case-by-case basis; and meet all program entry requirements; Or Provide evidence of ability to complete academic and other requirements (special admission requirements). Applicants must meet the English language requirements: IELTS Academic score of 6 with no band score lower than 5.5. TOEFL Internet based test (iBT) - Score of 60 (with a writing score of 18); Pearson Test of English (Academic)- PTE (Academic) score of 50 with no band score lower than 42.
