If you have strong English language skills and high academic marks, you could choose to enrol in our accelerated semester 1, completing four units: English and three electives. Then in semester 2, you’ll join your classmates in the standard program, completing four units: English and three electives, with the option of adding an additional unit for bonus marks.

Subject options in semester 1 are limited but will allow you to satisfy the prerequisites for all destination degrees.

The subject choices in the intensive program are limited – English, Accounting, Mathematics or Fundamental Mathematics, Chemistry, Global Studies, Information and Communication Technology or Economics (if sufficient numbers).

GCE A Levels - Total score of a maximum of the best 3 A Level subject examinations taken within two years. Two AS level subjects can be counted in place of one A level subject, provided that the subject has not been taken at A level, and there is at least one A level subject included in the calculation. AS Level results cannot be used to replace a poor performance in an A Level subject; N (Narrow failure) & U (Unclassified) not to be included in the calculation; A maximum of 1 bonus point is offered when achieving A in an A Level Subject. Standard, Intensive, Extended - 3. Students are required to complete international academic qualification equivalent to Australian year 11 or year 12. Applicants must have the minimum age of 16 years. English Language Requirements: IELTS: Standard - Overall 5.5, Writing 5.5 with no band less than 5.0; Intensive: 6.0 no band less than 5.5; Extended: 5.0 no band less than 5.0. TOEFL Internet based: Standard - 52 – Writing 19, Speaking 14 and Listening and Reading 5; Intensive: 69 writing 19, speaking 16, reading 10, listening 9; Extended: 40 writing 15, speaking 14, reading 5, listening 5; Monash English: Standard - Level 5; Intensive - Level 6; Extended - Level 4. Pearson Test of English: Standard - Overall score of 42 with 42 in Writing Communicative Skills with no other communicative skills score below 36; Intensive - 50 no band less than 42; Extended - 36 no band less than 36.
