• Integrate and leverage digital health devices to provide and improve patient care.

• Apply digital health principles to the Canadian Healthcare system with an emphasis on the systems, supports, and tools used in the province of Ontario.

• Measurement tracking and improvement of health through devices, sensors and wearables.
• Use of data analytics principles to produce data visualizations and build predictive models of disease transmission and treatment outcomes to inform decision making.
• Policies pertaining to privacy and security of personal health information and records including the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI), Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), and The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
• Cloud computing and the processing of large health-related datasets.
• Health system standards, integration and interoperability.
• Telehealth and virtual care systems for safe and efficient remote patient monitoring and interactions.
• Utilization of digital health technologies for remote care, health delivery and patient self-management.
• Management of healthcare records, systems and processes.
