This programme allows students to gain a comprehensive overview of the exciting hospitality industry the course of study will take students through matters like Tourism Planning, Front Office Management, Business Ethics, Events Management, hotel, resort & restaurant management, as well as critical thinking and communication skills necessary for dealing with the general public.

In addition, the programme also focuses on building professionalism, nurturing your personal and career development pathways through industry links and internship placement.

Learning outcome

Upon completion, students are expected to be able to:

• Communicate effectively through oral, written and visual means to create and communicate understanding for different purposes and contexts, using appropriate digital technologies

• Interact and engage collaboratively in a group, contribute positively and productively and take on a range of roles within the group to meet its goals

• Acquire a breadth and depth of knowledge in the practical and theoretical aspects of the discipline areas and apply that knowledge within economic, social, environmental, technological, global and multi-cultural contexts

• Locate, organize, analyses, synthesis and evaluate information systematically, cohesively and coherently in assessing and presenting information for problem-solving and decision-making

• Demonstrate ethical practices during the operations or case studies in a socially and culturally diverse global world and the importance of sustainable development
