你可以从学校、图书馆、网上和书店搜索一份暑期阅读书单,但是今天你看到的这份书单是独一无二的。这份年度暑假阅读清单不仅给学生很多阅读上的建议，还推荐了不少阅读书籍给家长，甚至是每一个爱阅读的人。这份阅读书单是由一系列美国大学的校长和招生官倾情推荐，非常值得关注。

这份书单不仅包括小说和非小说，还涉及了许多历史和科学类文献。当然，关于如何进入大学和在大学学习和生活，甚至如何进入研究生院的书籍也包含在内。你可以读到一些广受推荐的作家的作品，比如David Sedaris, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Angela Duckworth, Atul Gawande。除此之外，这份书单还会推荐一些新兴作者的作品。

这份书单是由Brennan Barnard编辑的，他是新罕布什尔州德瑞菲尔德学校的大学咨询负责人。他每年都会向各大大学招生官和中学咨询官寻求暑期阅读清单的建议，然后汇总起来。
